I am loving your blog more and more...Dr. Deyamport,
I am loving your blog more and more every time I visit! A couple weeks ago Dr. Strange asked us to find a technological tool that hasn't been discussed in class yet. I found Edmodo on Web 2.0 Tools and wrote about it for my classmates in my Blog Post #4. I am very active on Facebook and still getting used to Twitter but I love social media and having that connection with people. I think that is why Edmodo caught my attention, I like the idea of being connected with my students and parents through a social media because they more than likely will already have Facebook and Twitter. I also like that Edmodo is for educators and a way to keep the personal lives separate.

The University of South Alabama has an online program where teachers can have a blended classroom like most colleges, which I love the idea of a blended classroom. However, what I really like about Edmodo is that not only can teachers in your school be part of your community, you can have teachers from all over the district! I like learning from other teachers and seeing the different classrooms, so I am really excited about having that relationship with teachers all over my district.

Since I do not have my classroom yet and the educators, students, etc. to make my communities, I can't really see all the benefits and how to use it fully so thank you for this video!! Very helpful!

Melissa Canterbury

Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02061021512144233311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6617626453123840065.post-78861099641614592432013-06-17T12:28:56.608-05:002013-06-17T12:28:56.608-05:00Kris,
Thanks. I appreciate it. It would be awesom...Kris,

Thanks. I appreciate it. It would be awesome if you would talk to our teachers via a Google Hangout about how you are using Edmodo. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment.

Dr. WillDr. Willhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03734595440750509229noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6617626453123840065.post-34394394515974222492013-06-17T11:01:43.766-05:002013-06-17T11:01:43.766-05:00Dr. Will, I use Edmodo in my blended class also.
